#39 メチャクチャちょうど良い日本海唯一の政令指定都市”Niigata”
いよいよ新潟を離れる時が近づいてきました．
もう1ヵ月を切りました．
大学入学から数えれば，今年の4月で18年になります．
スポーツ理学療法で大変著名な先生がいることを知り，自身がやっていた競技種目ではないにも関わらず，教えてもらいたいと思い，そして，スキーし放題という魅力に魅せられ関東から来ました．
初めて新潟で過ごす冬．
朝目覚めた時，”外のやけに静まり返った空気”を感じてカーテンを開けるとそこには白銀の世界．

しかし，いずれにしても大興奮していたのは事実です．
（新潟に住むとこの感覚を覚える方は少数派だと思いますが）
積雪は長靴を履くほどではない程度だったと思います．
それでも，朝起きて外を見た時のあの興奮ていうのは関東人からすればやっぱりすごいんですよね．
ただでもニュースや天気予報で伝えられる状況というのは非常にごく一部のことを伝えているのに過ぎないというのは知っていただきたい．
家族や親戚から，毎年のように「雪，すごいみたいだけど生活大丈夫？」と言ってもらいます．
はい．大丈夫です．
だってここ新潟市ですもん．
そうなんです．
あたかも新潟全域が大雪で積雪数メートルみたいな報道をされますが，当たり前ですがエリアによって全く違うわけです．
新潟は南から上越，中越，下越と区別されます．
政令指定都市がある新潟市は下越．
最も積雪の少ないエリアです．

長岡 ：450 cm

新潟（市）は一番積雪量が少ないのが良く分かりますよね？
それでも，新潟のイメージは雪．
報道されることが多い上越・中越エリアのイメージがそうさせるのだと思います．

今やストレスでしかない笑
見る分にはやっぱり綺麗なんです．
良いんですよ！
でも，
生活するって話が違うんです．笑
きっと，この感覚は雪国の方なら共感していただけるはず！
何より，車に累積した雪をのける作業が必要で，
新潟の湿った雪により非常に悪化した路面を走行しなければならず，天気が悪い日が続くのです．
出勤前の雪かきは多い時で3回やりました．
朝3:00頃起きて1回目
5:00前に2回目
出勤時に3回目
休日の雪かき後に飲む雪ビールは最高でしたが！
こうした厳しい季節があることで美味しい日本酒が作られたり，農作物が育つことも知っています．海鮮だって本当に美味しい．

実際，めちゃくちゃ美味いんですよ．

I had a great time drinking snow beer after shoveling on my days off, though!
