#2 アラフォー大学教員のFA宣言
こんにちは．
ぱぐやです．
動物が苦手で，犬も猫ももちろん苦手でしたが，つい最近，パグの可愛さに気づき，いつの間にかついつい目で追ってしまう自分がいます．皆さんは，好きな犬，なんですかー？？
ちなみに，パグは白よりも黒の方が好きです．
さて，タイトルにある「38歳目前にして転職」ですが，ちょうど今，自分がその立場にあります．
大学教員として10年勤めてきましたが，ちょっと色々あって今年度で卒業することにしたわけです．この業界は，師匠や人的パイプによって勤務先を変える方がほとんどなわけですが，自分の場合はそういったものは使いたくないという思いが強く，一人で動いているわけです．
だがしかし，後悔です．．．
この時期になってまだ決まっていません．
つい先日，応募していた大学の関係者にメールをしましたが，どうやらすでに選考が始まっており，面接の連絡も出しているのだそう．．え．．自分には届いていないけど．．．
ということで，ダメだったのだろうと．．
いやいや．．．参りました．
また新たなところを探さないといけませんが，
JREC（https://jrecin.jst.go.jp/seek/Login?sFlg=true）を毎日チェックする毎日です．．
そう，このJRECは我々大学教員の求人サイトのようなもので，きっとおそらく我が国の多くの先生方が常日頃よりチェックされているものだろうと思います．
そして今日，ここはどうだ！というところを見つけられたので，今また履歴書等準備しているところです．

Now, as for the title of this article, “Changing Jobs at the Age of 38,” I am in that position right now.
I have been working as a university teacher for 10 years, but I have decided to graduate this year for various reasons. In this industry, most people change their employers through mentors or personal connections, but in my case, I don't want to use such connections, so I am working alone. But I regret it... I have not yet decided at this time of the year. Just the other day, I sent an e-mail to the person at the university to which I had applied, and it seems that the selection process has already started and they have already contacted me for an interview....... What? I haven't received it yet, but ... . So I guess I didn't make it ... . Well, well, well ... I'm here.
I have to look for a new place again, but I check JREC (https://jrecin.jst.go.jp/seek/Login?sFlg=true) every day. Yes, JREC is like a job site for us university teachers, and I am sure that many teachers in our country are checking it on a regular basis. And today, I found a place that I thought, “What about this place? I am now preparing my resume and other documents. If you read this article and have any useful information, please let me know! LOL I need a place to work as a university faculty member!
I don't know anything about changing jobs outside of the medical field, but how are you all doing it?
