My husband often says that I’m too airheaded sometimes.

私の言い訳としては、あの試験って、不必要なほど先回りした思考を求められるから、それって本当に必要？——と考えずにはいられなかったんです。

私は夫に言いました。

「秘書じゃなくて、私はWEBデザイナーを目指してたんだよ？秘書検定には落ちたけど、デザイナーの試験には合格して、倍率の高かったデザイナーの枠に残れたんだから」

すると彼は言いました。

「なにそれ『俺は海賊王になる』みたいな新卒じゃん」

「俺は海賊王になる」みたいな新卒とは、自分が目指したものしか目指さない人のことです。
