私は、十数年前から文人会「一茶庵」の社中に所属している。
I have been in the company of the literary society "Issa-an" for more than a dozen years.
また古い話になるが、八年前の暑中に、大阪・北浜にある漆黒の小西邸(株式会社コニシ)で、一茶庵・易社(当時)グループ主催の「初秋の煎茶会」が行われた。
It is an old story, but eight years ago, in the hot summer, Konishi Salon (Konishi Co., Ltd.), located in Kitahama, Osaka, held the "Sencha-kai of Early Autumn'' sponsored by the Issa-an/Ekisha group (at that time).
易社グループは初の煎茶会にもかかわらず、日本で初めて煎茶を始めたといわれている「売茶翁(ばいさおう)」と、売茶翁を師として尊敬していた絵師「伊藤若冲」をテーマにした煎茶会であった。
The Baisao is said to have begun sencha for the first time in Japan in spite of the first Senchakai, and "Ito Jakuchu", an artist who respected him as a teacher. It was a Sencha party with the theme.
部屋には、伊藤若冲が売茶翁を画いた絵に、若冲の禅の師であった相国寺の大典顕常禅僧が書いた漢詩(経典のような)が添えられたお軸が掛かっていた。通常では見ることができない代物らしい。
In the room, there is an axis with Ito Jakuchu's painting of a tea ceremony and a Chinese poem (like a sutra) written by Daiden Kenjo, a Buddhist Zen master of Shokoku-ji, who was the Zen teacher of Jakuchu. It was an axis that you can not see it normally.
当時、易社グループは、煎茶は初心者でも人生に長けた"人生暴れん坊将軍"の方たちばかり。その煎茶初心者が1席から3席までをすべて取り仕切るというのは前代未聞である。その大胆な発想を企画し支えていただいたのが一茶庵の佃一輝宗匠。宗匠がこの煎茶会の炊きつけては喜んでおられる。なんとも一茶庵らしい。
At that time, the Ekisha group was all about "violent generals" who were good at green tea even if they were beginners. It is unprecedented that the sencha beginner will take control of all 1th to 3th seats. It was Ikki Tsukuda Master, who was in charge of planning and supportingthis bold idea. Master is pleased to heap up this Sencha-kai. It looks like Issa-an.
一席のお手前は不肖ながら私が務めさせていただいた。一席から常に、小西邸の当主の小西さんが大亭主として進行。そして各席で亭主が変わり、それぞれの持ち味で、この売茶翁と伊藤若冲を、掛け軸を通して出席者に解説。
大亭主と亭主の掛け合い漫才のような解説に各席とも笑いが起こる。知らないことは知らない、といい、知っていることは喋りまくる。お点前しながらもついつい当事者が笑ってしまうほどの煎茶会になった。
I was able to serve as a first performer. Mr. Konishi, the owner of Konishi's house, always takes the lead from the first time. The owner changes at each time, and each of them has its own characteristics and explains to the attendees about this tea ceremony and Jakuchu Ito through the hanging scroll.
A laughter occurs at each time due to the commentary like a comical dialogue between the performer and the owner. We said that we don't know what we don't know, and we talk a lot about what we know. It was a sencha party where the parties laughed at the end of the day.
煎茶会のあと、打ち上げを兼ねた茶事を行い、道修町の少彦名神社の宮司さんや、北浜の老舗の社長さんらが加わり盛り上がった。亭主は私がさせていただき進行。料理は、グループの暴れん坊将軍の一人でうなぎ博士の方が提案した「エジプト家庭料理風のうなぎ料理」を堪能。うなぎのぶつ切りをから揚げにしたものと、うなぎのかやくご飯がメーン。そこに小西邸の当主ご自慢のお酒の数々。レバノン産の高級ワイン、年代物の紹興酒に日本酒などなど。煎茶に始まりうなぎのエジプト料理、お酒のオンパレードという一風変わった茶事となった。食べて、飲んで、語った一日であった。

After the sencha party, a tea ceremony was held that also served as a launch, and the priests of the Sukunahikona Shrine in Dosho-machi and the long-established president of Kitahama joined the party. I will let the host proceed. For cooking, enjoy the "Egyptian home-style eel dish" proposed by Dr. Unagi, one of the group's violent generals. Main is the eel and eel fried. There are many sakes that the owner of the Konishi House is proud of. Fine wines from Lebanon, old Shaoxing sake and sake. It became an unusual tea ceremony that started with Sencha, Egyptian dishes of eel, and an on-parade of sake. It was a day of eating, drinking and talking.
