If you watch it in an environment close to that time, your imagination will expand.
I was shocked by the works of Ito Jakuchu and his disciples, which were displayed at the Hozo-ji Temple Treasure Exhibition. It is not a glass-walled work, nor is it an exaggerated work that is illuminated by lighting. It is an impression that I witnessed the beauty of nature as it was at that time, relying on natural light and snuggling up to the oil lamp.
The dozens of paintings I saw at the temple were an exhibition at the Shoin without spot lighting. It seemed to be close to the environment of production activities in the dim light of that time. It was not an exaggeration for each piece, and I felt that viewing the work in an environment close to that time would test the imagination of the viewer. It also seemed that my imagination was infinitely expanding.
Not all, but I will introduce it.
