美術館が定休日だったお陰で、美しい大阪の景観が楽しめた　 Thanks to the fact that the museum was closed, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Osaka.

地下鉄肥後橋駅より徒歩1、2分のところに新しくできた中之島フェスティバルタワー・ウエストの4階に「中之島香雪美術館」がある。ちょうど4年前に、本館(神戸市東灘区)に次いで新設された美術館である。
この周辺は大阪の経済ビジネス領域の街で大都市景観を誇る地域のひとつ。そのド真ん中に、中之島香雪美術館や国立国際美術館、中之島美術館などをはじめ科学館、図書館、劇場ホールなど芸術・文化活動の情報発信する数々の施設が建ち並び、経済文化都市・大阪の新しい姿が目に映った。
 
The Nakanoshima Kosetsu Museum is located on the 4th floor of the newly built Nakanoshima Festival Tower West, a minute or two on foot from Higobashi Subway Station. Exactly four years ago, this museum was newly established after the main building (Higashinada Ward, Kobe City).
This area is one of the areas boasting a large cityscape in the economic and business area of ​​Osaka. In the center of the building, there are many facilities such as Nakanoshima Kosetsu Museum, National Museum of Art, Nakanoshima Museum, Science Museum, Library, Theater Hall, etc. that disseminate information on artistic and cultural activities. It was reflected in.

 そんな大都会の一角で開催されていた美術展を観ようと、一昨日、夕方からの仕事打合せの前時間を利用し香雪美術館を訪れた。観たい展覧会なら事前に美術館情報をチェックしてから行けばよかったのだが、気まぐれ思いつきの行動が裏目に。美術館が定休日だったである。まぁ、5月22日までなので、改めて足を運んでみる。言い訳に聞こえそうだが、空いた時間を利用し中之島、土佐堀川周辺を散策する時間がとれ、改めて大阪の美しい一面を楽しむことができた。 

The day before yesterday, I visited the Kasetsu Museum using the time before the work meeting from the evening to see an art exhibition held in a corner of such a big city. If it was an exhibition I wanted to see, I should have checked the museum information in advance, but the whimsical behavior backfired. The museum was closed. Well, it's until May 22nd, so I'll come back again.It sounds like an excuse, but I was able to take some time to explore Nakanoshima and the Tosahori River in my spare time and enjoy the beautiful side of Osaka again. 

私が観たかった展覧会は「来迎 たいせつな人との別れのために」という内容の仏教美術展。来迎図や浄土図など仏画の美術品が展示されていると聞く。こんな都会の一角で開催される企画展として違和感は否めないが、固定概念を外せば、こんなところだからこそ、仏教美術の観点から「仏への関心の一歩」になってほしてと心より願う。 

The exhibition I wanted to see was a Buddhist art exhibition with the content "To say goodbye to the important people who came." I hear that Buddhist paintings such as Raigo and Pure Land are on display. It is undeniable that this is a special exhibition held in a corner of the city, but if you remove the stereotypes, I sincerely hope that it will be a "step of interest in Buddha" from the perspective of Buddhist art.
