明日より第5回尾道映画祭プレイベントが開催。尾道市合弁15周年記念の最後飾る The 5th Onomichi Film Festival pre-event will be held from tomorrow. To decorate the end of the 15th anniversary of the Onomichi joint venture

今年の2月に、第4回尾道映画祭が行われた。そのタイトルが「大林宣彦監督 追悼　第4回尾道映画祭2021」だった。一昨年に生涯の幕を下ろした、尾道出身の映画監督 大林宣彦監督の遺作となった『海辺の映画館－キネマの玉手箱』と、代表作である「尾道三部作」が特集上映された。その記憶が覚めやらないうちに第5回が2022年2月26日（土）、27日（日）の両日開催される。年々盛り上がりをみせ、注目される映画祭へ発展している。

In February of this year, the 4th Onomichi Film Festival was held. The title was "Memorial to Director Nobuhiko Obayashi, 4th Onomichi Film Festival 2021". "The Labyrinth of Cinemas-Kinema's Tamatebako", which was the last work of director Nobuhiko Obayashi from Onomichi, who ended his life two years ago, and his representative work "Onomichi Trilogy" were specially screened. The 5th meeting will be held on February 26th (Sat) and 27th (Sun), 2022, before the memory is awakened. It is getting more and more exciting year by year, and it has developed into a film festival that attracts attention.

その第5回尾道映画祭のプレイベントが、明日からの3日間、尾道～因島～瀬戸田をつなぐしまなみ映画キャラバンとして開催される。2021年は、尾道市の平成大合弁15周年で、その記念すべき年の最後を飾るイベントとしてそれぞれの会場で行われる。

The pre-event of the 5th Onomichi Film Festival will be held on December 24th, 25th and 26th as a Shimanami movie caravan that connects Onomichi-Innoshima-Setoda. 2021 is the 15th anniversary of the Heisei joint venture in Onomichi City, and will be held at each venue as an event to mark the end of the memorable year.

最後に上映されるのは、やはり映画の街 尾道。締めくくるのは「東京物語」。スペシャルゲストに脳科学者茂木健一郎氏を迎えてトークショーが行われる。
初日は瀬戸田のベル・カントホールで、アニメーション映画「グリンチ」、「男はつらいよ」、「戦場のメリークリスマス」。2日目は、因島の芸予文化情報センターで「時をかける少女(アニメ版)」と「海賊と呼ばれた男」。そして最終日、尾道へとバトンがつながれる。

The final screening is Onomichi, the city of movies. The end is "Tokyo Story". A talk show will be held with brain scientist Kenichiro Mogi as a special guest.
The first day was at Bell Kant Hall in Setoda, with the animated films "The Grinch," "Otoko wa Tsuraiyo," and "Merry Christmas, Mr. Battlefield." On the second day, "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Anime Version)" and "A Man Called Pirate" at the Geiyo Bunka Information Center in Innoshima. And on the final day, the baton is connected to Onomichi.

私は、アニメメーション以外の映画はすべて鑑賞している。素晴らしい作品ばかりで心が高鳴るが、やはり、その中でも「東京物語」は数回観ている。世代的な共感度が高いというのもあるが、なんといっても故笠智衆さんの演技は忘れられない。
このプレイベントは子供から大人まで、まさに老若男女が楽しめる映画が上映される。このプレイベントを起爆剤に、来年の第5回映画祭の成功へつなげてほしいものである。

I watch all movies except animation. All the wonderful works are exciting, but after all, I have watched "Tokyo Story" several times. It is said that the generational sympathy is high, but after all, the acting of the Chishu Ryu is unforgettable.
This pre-event will show movies that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages, from children to adults. I hope that this pre-event will be used as a trigger for the success of the 5th Film Festival next year.
