エミーナ先生たちが残してくれた南武道精神。　 Teacher Emina, the spirit of Nanbudo that left us.

2005年、南武道が日本で産声をあげた。南部義尚氏(世界南武道連盟道主/本部フランス)と共に、南部氏の出身地神戸の二宮神社社務所の2階を道場に稽古がスタートした。

 In 2005, Nanbudo was born in Japan. With Mr. Yoshinao Nanbu (Doshu of the World Nanbudo Federation / Headquarters France), training started at the dojo on the second floor of the Ninomiya Shrine office in Kobe, where Mr. Nanbu was born. 

筆者が練習した期間、海外から入れ代わるように5人の先生たちが来日。道場開設当初は、道主と同行し来日した若いノルウェー人の男性がそのまま日本に滞在し数カ月指導にあたってくれた。
その後はスロベニアからの女性、そしてスイス人の女性の先生が続いた。それぞれ一年近く日本に滞在し、武道未経験の我々に手とり足とり教えていただいた。それからは、南部道主か、クロアチアの師範代が交互に来日し稽古に励んだ。

During the period I practiced, five teachers came to Japan to switch from overseas.　At the beginning of the dojo, a young Norwegian man who came to Japan with the dojo stayed in Japan for several months. This was followed by a female teacher from Slovenia and then a Swiss female teacher. We stayed in Japan for almost a year, and we, who have no experience in martial arts, taught us how to take steps. 

After that, Nanbu Doshu or the Croatian teachers came to Japan alternately and worked hard to practice.

その中で、約10ヶ月日本に滞在して指導していただいたエミーナ先生は、スイス人で若干20歳(当時)の美しい方だった。わざわざ日本の南武道の底上げに来日してくれた。前任のスロベニアの先生の後に日本の南武道の底上げにプライベートで来日してくれた親日南武道家である。

Among them, Miss. Emina, who stayed in Japan for about 10 months and gave guidance, was a beautiful Swiss person who was only 20 years old (at that time). She came all the way to raise the level of Nanbudo in Japan. She is a pro-Japanese Nanbudo artist who came to Japan privately to raise the level of Japanese Nanbudo after her Slovenian teacher.

私たち日本のメンバーにとっては、彼女は日本の終身指導者として認める存在である。それだけ我々には大切で貴重な指導者だった。
彼女自身も日本に行ってみたい、という熱い想いをもち来日。日本の文化や暮らしを理解し楽しんでいただけたのではと思っている。
日本での最後の練習では「私は、日本で最高の生活をしたョ」と言ってくれた。「ほんと楽しかった、最高の仲間もできたし」と。

For us Japanese members, she is recognized as a lifelong leader in Japan. That was an important and valuable leader for us. She came to Japan with a passionate desire to go to Japan. I hope you enjoyed understanding Japanese culture and lifestyle. In the last practice in Japan, she said, "I had the best life in Japan." "It was really fun, and I made some of the best friends."

我々、南武道している者は一つのパスポートでつながっている。南武道の精神や、継承すべき事柄がすべて記載されている。それに全世界の南武道家が従い、心を一つにする。どの国に行けども、そのパスポートがあれば即練習に参加でき、その国のメンバーとして快く迎えてくれる。まさに、世界の「南武道家の絆」の一冊になっている。

We, those who practice Nanbudo, are connected by one passport. It describes the spirit of Nanbudo and everything that should be inherited. Nanbudo artists from all over the world follow it and unite their hearts. No matter which country you go to, if you have that passport, you can immediately participate in the practice and will be happy to welcome you as a member of that country.
It is truly one of the world's "Kizuna of Nanbudo".

だから、エミーナ先生とはまたいつでも逢える。機会があればまた教えを受けることができる。彼女は帰国後、9月からスイスの大学に入学。日本文化を専攻した。2年後には再来日したいという願いが叶い、交換留学生として九州大学で2年間学んだようである。

Therefore, I can always meet Miss. Emina again. If you have the opportunity, you can be taught again. After returning to Japan, she entered a Swiss university in September. I majored in Japanese culture. It seems that he studied at Kyushu University for two years as an exchange student because her desire to return to Japan came true two years later.

いまも各先生方とFBでつながっている。そして世界の南武道家とも交流をさせていただいている。
残念ながら、南武道の創始者である南部義尚道主は、今年お亡くなりになられた。
道主のおかげでクロアチア前大統領にも謁見させていただいた。数えきれないほど思い出がある。
道主亡き後、ヨーロッパを中心に南武道が拡大充実しているのをネットで見聞きする。嬉しい限りである。

I am still connected to each teacher via FB. And I am also interacting with Nanbudo artists around the world. Unfortunately, the founder of Nanbudo, Yoshinao Nanbu, passed away this year. Thanks to the lord of the province, I had an audience with the former President of Croatia.
I have countless memories. After the death of the lord, I see and hear on the internet that Nanbudo has expanded and enriched mainly in Europe. As far as I am happy.
