初冬に想う。雁が音の渋さが染みる 【煎茶稽古追想】 I think in early winter. The astringency of the Karigane feel

湯冷ましを雁が音(茶葉)にかからないようにゆっくりと注ぐ。1煎目のまろやかさが、2煎目には渋さが増し少し引き締まる。そして3煎目はキレが抜けていく。

昨夜の稽古のお題は、李白の「白鷺鷥(はくろじ)」。漢詩や墨絵に登場する白鷺は「男」を比喩する。それも美しい男性の代名詞である。今回のこの漢詩は、李白が友人の男性の悲哀を詠んだものとされている。

Pour the water cool slowly so that do not touch the Karigane (tea leaves). The mellowness of the first brew and the astringency of the second brew increase and tighten a little. And the third roast is not sharp.

The theme of last night's lesson was Li Bai's "Hakuroji". The egret that appears in Chinese poetry and sumi-e is a metaphor for a "man". It is also synonymous with beautiful men. This Chinese poem is alleged that Li Bai wrote about the sorrow of his friend's man.

‏白鷺拳一足　　
‏月明秋水寒 ‏
‏人驚遠飛去　　‏
‏直向使君灘
　　‏
[現代訳]
片足で立つ白い鷺
‏月は明るく 秋の川の流れは冷たい
‏人影に驚き 白鷺は遠くへ飛び去り
‏まっすぐに 使君灘へ向かっていく

[Modern translation]
White heron standing on one leg
The moon is bright and the river flow in autumn is cold Surprised by the figure
Egret flies away to go straight to the Nada

そしてもう一句

白鷺下秋水　　
孤飛如墜霜　　
心閑且未去　　
独立沙洲旁　　

[現代訳]
白鷺が秋の水におりてくる。
１羽で飛ぶさまは、霜がおちてくるみたい。
心をしずめてしばらく立ち去らない。
ひとりで砂の中洲のそばに立っている。

[Modern translation]
Egret comes into the autumn water.
If hakuro fly with one bird, it seems that frost is coming down.
Quiet the heart and don't leave for a while.
Standing alone by the sand Nakasu!

冬到来に、男の悲哀を感じさせられる。そして、雁が音の渋さが心に染みる。

The arrival of winter makes me feel the sadness of a man. And the astringency of the karigane permeates my heart.
