尾道映画祭が今週末に開催。映画とグルメと音楽に酔いしれる　 The Omichi Film Festival will be held this weekend. Get Satisfied with movies, gourmet food and music

尾道映画祭2022が今週末の17日から3日間しまなみ交流館(テアトルシェルネ)やシネマ尾道の劇場などで行われる。2017年にスタートした尾道映画祭だが、新型コロナウィルス騒動で中止を余儀なくされたが、3年ぶりということで開催直前に盛り上がりを見せている。
今回は、映画祭に合わせ、「尾道映画祭 駅前マルシェ」や「映画と音楽と風景」が開催される。映画にグルメと音楽が加わり尾道の街はにぎやかフェス一色になる。

The Omichi Film Festival, which started in 2017, was forced to be canceled due to the new corona virus turmoil, but it is showing excitement just before the event because it is the first time in three years. This time, "Omichi Film Festival Ekimae Marche" and "Movies, Music and Landscapes" will be held in conjunction with the film festival. Gourmet and music are added to the movie, and the city of Omichi becomes a lively festival.

映画祭のスタートは、17日(金)の午後3時30分から映画「逆光」の須藤蓮監督とロケ地めぐりツアーが口火を切る。
そして本番が18日からの2日間。少し紹介すると、初日はしまなみ交流館で12時からオープニングセレモニーが行われ、そのあと12時30分より話題を集めた「空母いぶき」が同館で上映される。映画終了後には、原作者の漫画家である「かわぐちかいじ」氏がゲストとして登壇する。ビックコミックに連載された原作漫画についての制作エピソードが聞けそうなので楽しみだ。
そして、午後4時40分からは、「さがす」が上映され、終了後には、主演した「佐藤二郎」さんがゲストで舞台に。片山監督との撮影秘話が、佐藤さんのあのユニークトークで聞けるかも。

Then, from 4:40 pm, "Search" will be screened, and after the end, "Jiro Sato", who starred, will be on stage as a guest. You may be able to hear the secret story of shooting with Director Katayama in that unique talk by Mr. Sato.
 
一方、シネマ尾道では、午前10時30分からは「逆光」が上映され、その後は監督の須藤蓮氏と同作の脚本を書いた渡辺あやさんが舞台にあがり楽しいトーク。引き続き同館では、午後1時から「いとみち」(ゲストは横浜聡子監督)、その後は午後4時30分からは「叫ばないと生きていけない」が上映される。監督の森ガキ侑大氏と主演の松澤匠さんの二人がゲストとして登壇する。
 
On the other hand, at Cinema Omichi, "Backlight" will be screened from 10:30 am, and after that, director Ren Sudo and Aya Watanabe, who wrote the script for the same work, will be on stage for a fun talk. At the same building, "Itomichi" (guest directed by Satoko Yokohama) will be screened from 1:00 pm, and then "I can't live without screaming" will be screened from 4:30 pm. Director Yudai Morigaki and Takumi Matsuzawa, who will star in the show, will be on stage as guests.
 
 
夜は、カフェレストランのLOGで、沖田修一氏、須藤蓮氏、森ガキ侑大氏、川本直人氏の監督4人による「自主映画のいまと未来」についてのシンポジュウムが行われる。映画の街として若手の優秀な映画人が輩出されるキッカケ話などがシンポジュウムの中で聞けるかもしれない。
 
In the evening, a symposium on "The Present and Future of Independent Movies" will be held at the cafe restaurant LOG by four directors, Shuichi Okita, Ren Sudo, Yudai Morigaki, and Naoto Kawamoto. In the symposium, you may be able to hear stories about the production of talented young filmmakers as a city of movies.
 
 
翌日の19日は、しまなみ交流館では午前11時からは、小説家・窪美澄さん短編小説を映画化した「かそけきサンカヨウ」(主演の志田彩良さん・石田ひかりがゲスト)、そして午後2時40分からは、主演の石田ひかりさんの「ふたり」が上映される。ゲストには石田ひかりさんと、尾道出身の故大林宣彦監督の夫人で映画プロデューサーの大林恭子氏と映画作家の大林千茱萸氏の3人が舞台に上がり尾道の映画談義に。

一方、シネマ尾道では午前10時から川本直人監督作品「渦潮」「渦汐」が上映。そして午前11時50分より俳優の青木崇高さんが自らのドキュメンタリー映画を製作。「青木崇高の「ウズベキスタン」までちょっと会いに」と「青木崇高のアメリカ西部までちょっと会いに」の2本を上映。青木さんがゲストとして登壇し、当時の撮影秘話を語ってくれるはず。楽しみである。
午後2時20分からは「おーい! どんちゃん」。そしてそのあと監督の沖田修一氏がゲストとして舞台へ。

盛りだくさんの映画祭2日間になる。地元の人たちはもちろんだが、遠くは関西や東京からも映画ファンが集まってくる。海のまち、山のまち そして映画のまちとして一歩一歩歴史を紡いでいく。

この週末は「映画・えいが」で尾道は盛り上がりを見せる。それに駅前マルシェでグルメに舌鼓をうち、音楽がいたるところから響き聞こえてくる尾道になるはず。久しぶりの尾道にワクワクしている。
