Bible 35

Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the LORD.  But Abel brought fat portions from some of firstborn of his flock. The LORD looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast.
時が経ちアベルは羊飼いに、カインは農家になった。ある時期になりカインは神への捧げものとして自分の土地で作った果物を持って行った。そしてアベルは自分の羊の初子の中の最上のものを捧げものとした。神はアベルと彼の捧げものを喜び、カインと彼の捧げものは喜ばなかった。カインはひどく怒り、ふさぎこんだ。

Cain gave God what he made as an offering, the other hand Abel gave God what his precious sheep. God 's blessing will go  to man not by his work. 
カインは自分の働いて作ったものを捧げものとし、アベルは自分の大切な羊を捧げものとした。神の救いは働きによって得られるものではない。
