Google Domains開いたらダッシュボード使えなくなってるや〜〜んw_SquareSpaceなんだそれ？
….すみません。
Google Domainsが買収されたのは知ってましたが、
移管作業が億劫すぎてこの時期まで放置してましたw
さすがにやばいかな〜と思い、Google Domainsを開いたら….

笑うしかないwwww
やっちまった….
で、どうするよ？っていうのが本題
※ 最後まで読んでも解決策はないので、期待しないで読み進めていただきたく….🙏

とりあえず、Google Domainsと同じGoogleアカウントでSquarespaceのアカウントを作ればよさそうなのでやってみることにしました。

Google Domains側の記事を漁っても「Squarespaceに譲渡することになりました〜」っていう内容ばかりで、具体的な情報を収集できなかったのと、ネットで検索してもCloudflareの移管方法記事ばかりでした。
どうやら、わたしのように「あ、やべ、Google Domainsからもう見れなくなってるやんっ」っていうアホはいないようです….
そこで、譲渡先であるSquarespace側の出してる記事を漁ることにしてみました。
この記事、いい感じです。

更新日が11/01なのでわりと最近ではありますが、
実際、Google Domainsの右上には【Manage Domains】なんてものは表示されていません。。。
メール…..読まずに消してるからな….(記憶にない)

何かアクションが必要になったらメールで教えてくれるらしいです。Squarespaceへの準備が終わったらまたメールしてくれるらしいです。
When you receive the email, you'll follow the prompts to create a Squarespace account, or to log into your existing account.
メールが来たら、Squarespaceのアカウントを作るか、Google domainsで登録していたアカウントでログインすることになる….らしいです。

No, you don't need to buy a website subscription or any other services with Squarespace to use Squarespace Domains.
Squarespace Domains is an independent domain registrar separate from Squarespace, and you won't be required to use other services from Squarespace besides domain management.
ドメインを使うために課金する必要はない…..らしいです。

12ヶ月間は同じ….らしいです。

Squarespaceへ移管するまではGoogle domainsだけど、Squarespaceから移管通知が来たら、Domains panelでドメインのセッティングができるようになる….らしいです。

メールが届いた記憶もなければ、Squarespaceのアカウントを以前のGoogle Domainsと同じ内容で作って確認しても使っていたドメインが表示されない。

DNSを見れないのがちょっとつらいんだけど…そのうち表示されるようになるのかな？┌┤´ﾟДﾟ`├┐
今はまだ、似たような事例の記事に出会えないので、様子見にするとして…
12ヶ月はドメイン代は変わらないっぽいので、Squarespaceってどんなサービスなのかを漁っていこうかな…と思います。
