The Japanese language is too complicated, I think.
It has a huge number of characters that have to be learnt. Kanji, hiragana, katakana.
The grammar is not simple either.
Why does such a language still exist?
Why can't they be unified into a simple form?
Why are there so many languages in the world?
According to the myth of the Tower of Babel, it was made difficult for humans to communicate in retaliation for having defied God, but is this an explanation?
If we do not assume psychic powers, what possible explanations are there?
