Paleolithic diet: It is based on hunter-gatherer dietary life and taking as much meats and vegetables as you do, but hold back refined grains

* Vegetables
* Fruits
* Eat as many various foods as you can
* Meat with less fat
* Fishes
* Nuts
* Take calcium from vegetables
*You’d be better to eat next foods less and less, getting higher scores
* Processed meats
* Salts
* Diary products
* Refined grains and Starch
* Snacks
* Soft drinks
* Alcohols
Mediterranean Diet scoreboard(each items need to be evaluated highest is 5 point)
*You’d be better to eat next foods more and more, getting higher scores
* Vegetables
* Fruits
* Meats with less fat
* Fishes
* Nuts
* Take more mono-unsaturated fat than saturated one, meaning let’s take olive oil
*You’d be better to eat next foods less and less, getting higher scores
* Processed meats
* Salts
*You’d be better to eat next foods within bounds
* Dairy products
* Refined grains and Starch
* Alcohols(for men: 10〜25g/d, women: 5〜15g/d)
Both diet has just almost same dietary life on a basis.
And from the above result, researcher assessed all patient’s inflammation levels(high sensitive CRP) and oxidation levels(F-2 isoprostane)
And what came up was...
* Inflammation levels
- Highest scorers in Paleolithic diet hit 39% lower the levels than the lowest.
- Highest scorers in Mediterranean diet hit 29% lower the levels than the lowest.
* Oxidation levels
- Highest scorers in Paleolithic diet hit 59% lower the levels than the lowest.
- Highest scorers in Mediterranean diet hit 61% lower the levels than the lowest.
