Secret.
Spirit of the Wind 🍃
I received a daikon radish from an acquaintance who enjoys growing vegetables.
He said,
"I've created something interesting,"
as if showing me an art piece.
It has a unique shape.
I've never seen a daikon like this before.
Non-standard items don't make it to the market,
so I won't find them in stores.
Non-standard items can be interesting if I see them as having their own personality.
In the past, in Japan,
there was a saying that the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.
Being different from everyone else meant exclusion.
I think there used to be a lot of that.
Now, gradually, the world is changing to respect individuality.
I believe unique individuals are being recognized.
It's changing little by little.
It's not interesting if everything is standardized.
I like unique people.
They are often very entertaining to talk to.
Well, I might be considered unusual by those around me.
After all,
when I said, "I live with my parents,"
everyone reacted with "Why?"
I just wanted to be with this person forever.
I've been a housewife, living an ordinary life.
I was moved watching Misora Hibari's Phoenix Concert on TV, inspired by her passion for singing.
I admired her ability to accomplish something.
I felt the urge to start something new.
No one knows that I started a note.
It feels somewhat secret,
making my heart race.
Will it be discovered someday?
It might never be found.
