【通訳案内士】Bullet train 新幹線

新幹線は停車しませんが、静岡の沼津駅には港あじ寿司（880円）という駅弁があります。静岡といったら「わさび」ですが、なんとこの港あじ寿司には生わさびが付きます。自分ですりおろして、わさび醤油にして食べます。静岡の海と山の幸を是非ご堪能下さい。

Bullet train 新幹線

I would like to talk about Shinkansen or bullet train.
Shinkansen is a high speed rail that travels over 200km/h at maximum speed.
The rail has opened between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka in 1964 when Tokyo Olympic was held.
Now, you can travel from Hokkaido to Kyushu by Shinkansen.
新幹線について話したいと思います。新幹線は最高速度200km/h以上で走る高速鉄道です。東京でオリンピックの開かれた1964年に、東京から新大阪の区間で開通しました。現在は北海道から九州までつながっています。

The names of Shinkansen varies in the area and its speed.
For example, in Tokaido Shinkansen, Nozomi is the fastest, Hikari and Kodama follow next (to it).
新幹線は走るエリア、運航時間（停車駅の少なさ）で名前が異なります。例えば東海道新幹線では、早い順からのぞみ、ひかり、こだまという名前です。

Shinkansen is famous for its safety, too.
Fatal accident by train’s fault has never happened since its opening.
There is a special Shinkansen called “Doctor Yellow” which can detect rail’s deformation and wire’s status and it contributes to safety.
It is rare Shinkansen. So, if you see it, you are very lucky.
安全性にも評判があります。開業してから50年間ほど経ちますが、列車の不備による死亡事故はおきていません。ドクターイエローという新幹線があり、これによって線路のゆがみや電線の状態を検査します。とても珍しい車両なので、見ることができたらラッキーです。
