犬が行動を選択する

The modern approach to dog training here is to put a mat on the floor (that is "PLACE or BED"
As soon as the dog steps on the mat reward and simultaneously say 『YES』.

Build on this by getting the dog onto the mat for longer...then when the dog sits ...reward and say 『YES』...later add the cue "SIT"
This method is used to get the dog to le down ....when the dog lies say 『YES』and later give the action the name "DOWN"

ここでの犬の訓練への現代的なアプローチは、床にマットを置くことです（つまり、「PLACE or BED」）
犬がマットを踏むとすぐにご褒美を与え、同時に『Yes』と言います
これに基づいて、犬をマットの上に長時間座らせます...その後、犬が座ったら...ご褒美をあげて『Yes』と言ってください...後で「Sit」という合図を追加します
この方法は、犬を寝かせるために使用されます。犬が横たわった時に『Yes』と言い、その後、そのアクションに「Down」という名前を付けます。

I wonder if dogs are trained this way in Japan?

She walks quite well but likes the freedom of the extending lead. In time she will be better at walking to heel

So all training here is based on the dog choosing the action which is then rewarded. Later a name or cue is given to the action but to start with the only word the dog hears is "YES" which is the "MARKER" and tells the dog you are happy for them to do that action

日本では犬はこのように訓練されているのだろうか？

彼女はとても上手に歩きますが、リードを自由に伸ばすことが好きです。やがて彼女は歩くのが上手になるだろう。(所謂ヒールウォーク)

したがって、ここでのすべてのトレーニングは、犬が行動を選択することに基づいており、それが報酬(ご褒美)として与えられます。その後、その行動に名前または合図が与えられますが、最初に犬が聞く唯一の言葉は『Yes』であり、これが「マーカー」(=所謂クリッカーの代わり)であり、あなたが犬がその行動をすることに満足していることを犬に伝えます。

『Yes』と言う言葉は常に使えるが『クリッカー』はモノなので、探す必要がある場合がある。
