Skating with a bear
I took two lessons with teacher N today.
Since it was after four days off, we had a lot of things to catch up on.
I tried remembering which topics were during the first or the second lessons.
I told her I had translated her favorite Japanese song lyrics into English and read it.
She pleased and praised me, so I was so glad and proud.
Talking about the song's MV on YouTube, a senior high boy mentioned his destiny in the comment field; it said his life expectancy was three months, even if long.
Many other people who had read his comment replied and encouraged him, even though they hadn't met him in person.
I found them yesterday, and while reading them, I goose-bumped.
On the other hand, I had complex feelings; I felt sad and heartwarming.
I can't recognize if he is still alive, but I'm sure those comments and the song encouraged him, and I hope he recovered and became happy.
The teacher told me she also read those comments and tried to reply but couldn't.
After the class, I rechecked the MV and recognized the comments were already 500, so they became remitted, and then she couldn't leave a message there.
Honestly, I didn't know this song deeply, but it made sense when I tried to translate, thanks to teacher N giving me a chance.
What song do I try to translate next?
On a different note, she shared her holiday with me; she went to a skating rink and skated with a bear!
I imagined skating with the mascot costumed bear, but it was made of plastic.
I'm glad to know she has got a new friend.
I learned a new word, "clingy," today.
Do I use to like that, "While she was skating, she was clingy with a plastic bear?"
