製作ノート（74）『珠光の庵～遣の巻～』出演者インタビュー③

劇団衛星『珠光の庵～遣の巻～』制作の吉岡です。
2020年も残すところ、あとわずかですね。ということは『珠光の庵～遣の巻～』生配信ももうすぐ！
出演者インタビュー最終回は、共に劇団衛星の公演には初参加となる安岐さんと藤井さんです。

藤井颯太郎さん（幻灯劇場） as やまびこ

簡単に自己紹介をお願いします！
―どうも、藤井颯太郎です。「幻灯劇場」という写真家から音楽家まで様々な分野の作家を抱える劇団の代表をしています。壮絶なインドア派で、自粛期間前から自粛期間中のような生活を送っていました。今年はお仲間が増えたと思うので、いろんな方のインドア話を聞いてみたいですね。

今回劇団衛星の公演には初参加ですが、ご自身の劇団の稽古との違いや、これからやってみたいことがあれば教えてください。
―再演に対する感覚はかなり違うと感じました。幻灯劇場は前の演出などを引き継ぐことはあまり無く、場合によっては台本自体ガラガラッと変わるんです。なので、初日もテーブル稽古で変更点の確認とかから始まるのかなぁと思っていたのです。が、衛星の皆さんはすでに本作を何度も上演されているのもあって、初日から台詞とブロッキング(動き)が入っていて「じゃあ今からドコドコまで流れでやってみようか！」から始まったので、おっ！と焦りました。
英語で芝居すること自体人生で初めてなので、まだ言葉に振り回されていますが、次の稽古までには言葉をぶん回せるようになっていたいです。

韓国語版の初演が今年の2月だったので、記憶に新しいのかもしれませんね。今回はぜひ柴田さん・高田さん・藤井さんの3名の「言葉をぶん回す」英語キャストの皆さんにもぜひご注目いただければと思います。
最後に、今公演の意気込みをどうぞ！
―中学時代、なんども英語の成績で1をとっていた藤井が、二時間英語しか話さないキャラクターを演じることになるとは思っていませんでした。非常に頼もしい先輩方の中で取り組みがいのある挑戦をさせていただき、とても幸せです。

簡単に自己紹介をお願いします！
―こんにちは、安岐裕美と申します。劇団衛星さんには2018年の京都学生演劇祭以来何かとお世話になっているのですが、ついに公演にも携わらせていただけることになりました。どうぞよろしくお願いします！

「珠光の庵〜遣の巻〜」でチャレンジしていることはありますか？
―韓国語版を観劇した際に、皆さんの立ち居振る舞いの美しさに感動しました。その美しさを目指して、ひとつひとつの動きを丁寧に演じられるように日々勉強中です。

畳の上で演じる経験は貴重ですね。小夜さん役をはじめ今回も着物の衣装の方が多く、こちらも見どころです。
では、今公演の意気込みをどうぞ！
―この素敵な作品に小夜さんとして出演させていただけることを本当に嬉しく思っています。オンライン生配信でも小夜さんのあの独特な雰囲気を感じていただけるように頑張ります！

Hello, I'm Chihiro Yoshioka, a production manager of Juko's IORI "the messenger's account".
We have only a few days left in 2020. That means, Juko's IORI "the messenger's account" live streaming is coming up soon!
The final interviews are with Aki-san and Fujii-san, who will both appear in Eisei Theatre Group’s play for the first time.

Sotaro Fujii (Theater Phantom) as Yamabiko

Firstly, please introduce yourself briefly.
―Hi, I'm Sotaro Fujii, a representative of theater group "Theater Phantom", which has creators of various fields from photographers to musicians. I'm an extremely indoor person and stayed home like during the lockdown even before the lockdown. This year many people are also staying home, so I'd like to hear what they did for indoor life.

This is your first appearance in Eisei Theatre Group's play, so could you tell me any difference in practice between your group and Eisei? Also, please share what you would like to try during practice.
―I found a big difference in a sense of revival. In Theater Phantom, we don't often take over the previous direction, or sometimes we even change the scripts completely. That's why I thought the first day of practice would start from read-through and checking modified points. However, since Eisei members have performed this play many times, they almost have speeches and blocking (staging of actors) on the very first day. The practice began by "Let's run-through till such!", so I was a bit upset then.
This is my first time in a life to act in English and I'm still swung by lines. By the next practice, I would rather like to swing around the lines a lot.

The premiere of Korean language version was performed last February, so they might have fresh memories of speeches and blocking. This time I hope guests enjoy watching three English casts (Shibata-san, Takata-san and Fujii-san) that swing around the lines.
Lastly, would you express your wish for Juko’s IORI “The messenger’s account”?
―I've never imagined I would act as a character speaking only English for two hours, for I've got "1" in English grades many times in junior high school. It's a great honor to take on a challenging among the reliable seniors.

Let me move on to the interview of Aki-san, who will appear in Eisei Theatre Group's play for the first time!

Yumi Aki as Sayo

Firstly, please introduce yourself briefly.
―Hello, I’m Yumi Aki. Eisei Theatre Group has helped me in various events since Kyoto Student Theater Festival 2018, and this time I’ll finally support their play as well. I’m looking forward to working with them!

Could you tell me what you are trying in Juko’s IORI “The messenger’s account”?
―When I saw the Korean version, I was impressed with the beautiful behaviors of the casts. I’m practicing step by step aiming for the beauty so that I can pay attention to every single movement.

I guess acting on the tatami would be a precious experience for you. This time many actors including Sayo-san will wear kimono, so the costumes and the behaviors are also one of the highlights of the play.
Lastly, would you express your wish for this play?
―I’m so pleased to appear in this wonderful play as Sayo-san. Even in the live streaming show I’ll do my best to present you the distinctive character of her!
