EUの炭素国境調整措置（国境炭素税）が最終承認2023年4月27日（木）

2026年から，EUは鉄鋼，セメント，肥料，アルミニウム，電力，水素などを当面の対象品目として炭素国境調整措置（国境炭素税）を導入することを4月25日に最終承認した。その移行期間として今年2023年10月からEUに輸出する企業は対象品目のCO2排出量の報告が義務づけられる。2026年からは実際に規程に従ってCO2排出量に応じてお金を支払うことになる。

EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) receives final approval：April 27th(Thursday)

On April 25th, the EU approved the introduction of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), also known as the Carbon Border Tax, which will initially target products such as steel, cement, fertilizers, aluminum, electricity, and hydrogen starting in 2026. As a transition period, companies exporting to the EU from October 2023 will be required to report the CO2 emissions of the targeted products. From 2026, companies will be required to pay money based on their actual CO2 emissions in accordance with the regulations.
