The day a jellyfish told me to learn how to swim.

I first saw a jellyfish. It was in the Yokosuka bay.
I was captured by it's shape. A living creature so perfect and round. Dozens of white circles for no reason, just lounging around just like me. Nothing to do! 

Can they see me? I'm just 3 meters away. Where are the eyes? 
I aim. Drop a stone. Just missed it by an inch.
It didn't move. It didn't swim away.

I asked the jellyfish, "you can't see me either?"
I don't blame you jelly! I'm invisible to those around me.
Why do you think I'm here? Trying to sink you with stones? I got nothing better to do. 

I drop another stone! "Bulls eye!"
The stone went through its body like a hot knife though stick of butter.
It's circular shape, unmoved by the sudden 7 centimeter hole punctured clearly through. The jellyfish didn't move. Unaffected! 

-"What's your problem human?" The jelly frowned back at me as it spoke.

Oh, you can talk?

-I've been wanting to talk to you but I don't have a mouth. Thanks to you, it took only 2 stones and, "TAA-DAH", now I have this beautiful smile.
You should see those other idiots before you. They couldn't hit me with 24 stones.

Sorry jelly! You have a big hole in your body and your sad.

-Naw! It's a smile. The angle your seeing me is a little off. 
But you! You have a frown. What's up? The jellyfish kindly asked.

I'm in a place that is not my home.
My home I left was not my place.
I made a decision in my life and now I'm here.
I'm not prepared. Did I decide right?

-I'm alive. I'm in the ocean. Exactly where I am supposed to be.
The water carries me. I move with the ocean. Everything is here. And when I die, that's was life! I'm still alive after 26 stones.

I can't even swim well. The water is cold. I'll surely drown if I'm hit with a stone. I also like being dry.

-You're alive. You're in your ocean. Exactly where you're supposed to be. Not all stones will be a direct hit.
Just don't end up on the rocks like that jellyfish over there because if you don't make friends soon, no one can help you. Leave him alone. He's dead!
