親愛なる息子へ

今日も君と共に、素晴らしい時間を過ごせた
一日だった。

朝は君と過ごした後、おばあちゃんに君を預けて、夕方戻ってきたんだけどね。

そぅそぅ、先日から　君がぐっすりと寝ているか、安全かを他の部屋でも確認できるように、モニターを付けたんだ。Mamaが友達から借りたものなんだ

夜はね、Mamaが君を歓迎するためのウォールステッカーを買ってきてくれたよ。
Welcome Baby と飾った下に、色とりどりに
ステッカーを貼ったんだ。

君や、家族の写真も飾っていくつもりだよ。

Dear Son

Today was another wonderful day spent with you.

After spending the morning with you, I left you with Grandma and Mama picked you up in the afternoon.

Oh, by the way, we’ve installed a monitor so we can check on you while you’re sleeping soundly in another room. Mama borrowed it from a friend.

In the evening, Mama bought some wall stickers to put under the “Welcome Baby” sign that we already had up. We decorated it with colorful stickers underneath.

We’re planning to put up photos of you and our family next.
