Minoh waterfall
We went to Osaka to see my husband's host parents today and visited the Minoh waterfall.
The leaves were starting to turn red but they weren't in full autumn colors yet. The weather has been warm this season, so the period of color-changed leaves may be seen more in later this month.
From the start of the pathway towards the waterfall is about 3 km. We walked about 5 and a half kilometers in total. It was a little bit tired, but we all enjoyed walking and talking on the way together.
By the way, I was surprised to hear my husband talking to his host mother that about 20 years have passed after his days of studying in Japan as a university exchange student. Well, it's obvious that my husband and I are both in our 40's now.
We keep our good relationships with his host parents. Since we registered for our marriage in Japan, his host father was our guarantor. His host parents are like our relatives, although we don't have blood relationships.
They are getting older and we are caring about them. We just hope they will stay well as much as possible and we can see them once in a while. We really had great time together.
