October 2, 2021: 何が変わるのか？(What’s Will Change?)

 Ten years ago, in 2011, there were many unforgettable events like the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. Among them, my most unforgettable one is the FIFA Women's World Cup, which saw the Japan women's national football team nicknamed Nadeshiko Japan beat the United States in the final match. I recalled that the victory caused excitement in Japan and the national women football league boomed. 
 A decade later, in 2021, the women football team hit rock bottom and have struggled with its poor performance: it failed to reach the quarter-final in the 2019 World Cup and lost the quarter-final against Sweden at the Tokyo Olympics Game. However, its future seems promising since many players such as Yui Hasegawa join a professional team in Europe to enhance their skills. I respect their challenging mind to change and hope that they make a comeback shortly. 
Unlike Nadeshiko players, on the other hand, a party is now making another minor change under its own old rules. As far as  I searched for the members under the new administration on the Internet, most of them are old-fashioned and tiresomely familiar to me, which gave me the illusion that there may be something wrong with my Internet. But, it seems to be true.  
 I hope that the new administration includes fresh and promising politicians and prove the ability to win the global competition as done by Nadeshiko players.

　ふと、10年前の出来事が気になったので調べてみた。2011年は、なでしこジャパンがワールドカップで優勝した年。日本中が興奮し、女子サッカーのリーグ戦も盛り上がったのを思い出した。それから、10年、女子サッカーは低迷している。2019年のワールドカップではベスト16止まり。東京オリンピックもベスト8で敗退した。でも、将来は明るそうだ。長谷川唯を始め、海外に飛び出してスキルアップをはかる前向きな選手が一杯いる。復活に向けてガンバッテ欲しいし、応援します。
　そして、政治がまた変わろうとしている。変わることを非難するつもりはないが、何が変わるのかとインターネットを検索すると、お馴染みの名前のオンパレードで、インターネットの回線が壊れたのか傷が付いたのかと疑ってしまった。でも、どうも本当にようだ。
　この中に、海外でガンバル女子サッカー選手のような有望な選手いるだろうか。また、これで世界と戦える体制を築けるのか。応援する気にしてもらいたいものだ。
