Regarding Wagakki Band's indefinite suspension of activities

We would like to inform you that the Wagakki Band, which has been active since 2013 with your support, has decided to suspend its activities indefinitely at the end of 2024.

Wagakki Band has been thankfully supported by so many people over the long period leading up to today. With your help, we were able to perform in many wonderful places and present a variety of works.

Not only in Japan, but also concert in France, America, Singapore, China, and Taiwan, and even in Japan, we have invited Grammy Award-winning artist Amy Lee of Evanescence as a guest and held live performances with orchestras. We also had the opportunity to perform at world heritage sites that Japan is proud of, such as Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Munakata Taisha Shrine, as well as other wonderful places such as Izumo Taisha Shrine and Heian Shrine.

During the coronavirus pandemic, we received your cooperation through the "Taru Donation" project, and to date we have been able to donate more than 20 million yen to various places to help preserve traditional culture.

I am truly grateful to have been able to share such a wide range of activities with everyone.
I am sincerely grateful.

Nevertheless, we are announcing today that we will be suspending our activities, as this is the result of more than a year of deliberation and discussion among our team, and we hope that everyone will understand.

We are fully aware that this announcement will be disappointing for our fans, and we are deeply saddened, but we would like to emphasize that this announcement was made based on the judgment that this decision was for a better future.
Wagakki Band has chosen to stop moving in order to pursue music more deeply and work in a wide range of fields. In 2024, even after Wagakki Band's activities have ceased, each member plans to fully demonstrate their individual talents and continue to be active in various fields centered on music. Thank you for your continued support.

As for my personal activities, I will be working through Kitamine LLC from now on.

This year, which marks Wagakki Band's 10th anniversary, we would like to spend the best time with everyone who has supported us through our performances with eight members. Wagakki Band's future activities will be announced on the Wagakki Band's official website and SNS as soon as they are decided.
