- 日常の風景の写真 -

窓の片側から外を眺めると、穏やかな景色に見えますが、ドアを開けた瞬間、強烈な寒さが伝わってきました。                                                       From one side of the window looking out, the scenery appears calm, but the moment I opened the door the intense cold made itself known.

I had intended to go out for a walk to take photos of the birds and the ever-changing scenery.
But, immediately after I noticed the freezing weather was not going to allow me to take a long leisurely stroll I thought I will have to find something else to do for the moment.                                                         鳥や絶え間なく変化する風景の写真を撮るために散歩に出かけるつもりでした。 でも、凍えるような天気でのんびりと散歩することができないことに気づいた直後、今は何か他のことをしなければならないと思いました。

I remembered that I intended to make a Korean rice cake snack today, the original idea was to make it for 3' O clock, but that aside I thought I could practice taking a photo of that if I make it.
(And I was eager to eat the rice cake too.)                                                   今日は韓国のお餅を作ろうと思っていたのを思い出しました。元々は3時の予定でしたが、それはさておき、作れば写真を撮ることができると思いました。 （そして私も餅を食べたがっていました。）

Tteokbokki is the name of the snack, I think.
The seasoning was kept very simple as this was the first time I tried making it.
The rice cakes were flavoured with soy sauce and sugar and a Korean chili pepper miso "gochujang".                                                                     トッポッキはお菓子の名前だと思います。                                                        初めて作ってみたので、調味料はとてもシンプルに保たれていました。      餅は醤油と砂糖、そして韓国の唐辛子味噌「コチュジャン」で味付けされました。

It is quite enjoyable to try all sorts of foreign foods, especially when one makes it at home.
I felt there are many things that can be discovered through those experiences. (However, actually going out to the places might be the best way to do that.)                                                                                      いろいろな種類の外国の食べ物を試すのはとても楽しいです、特に家でそれを作るとき。                                                                                                 それらの経験から発見できることがたくさんあると感じました。            （しかし、実際にその場所に出かけるのが最善の方法かもしれません。）

The scent of freshly ground coffee beans is something that calls everyone to enjoy a cup of coffee.
It can be slightly a hassle to grind the beans all the time though, which is why I have both whole beans and pre-ground beans ready.                      挽きたてのコーヒー豆の香りは、誰もが一杯のコーヒーを楽しむように呼びかけるものです。 豆をいつも挽くのは少し面倒かもしれませんが、それが私が全粒豆と挽いた豆の両方を用意している理由です。

The emerging new shoot reaches up far beyond the sky towards the shining sun. Great strength from something fragile.                                      新たに出現した新芽は、空をはるかに超えて輝く太陽に向かって伸びています。小さなものからの大きな力。
