Age of Steam: Yamaguchi

先日公開した蒸気の時代:山口マップの英語ルールを作成しました。

This is fan expansion map of Age of Steam for 3-5 players.

This map is based on Yamaguchi in Japan and features “loser-friendly” rules that give the players who are losing ground the chance to win.

In this map, there is no auction to determine player turn order.
Instead, the worse you are in the game at the end of each round, the better your turn order in all phases of the next round.

In addition, the actions are selected using the Rondel mechanism. This prevents a particular player from selecting a series of strong actions.

These automatic balancing rules give the players who fall behind the other players a chance to recover with free choices, while the leading player is given difficulties with various restrictions.

The artwork was inspired by Ian O'Toole's Age of Steam Deluxe Edition artwork.
