Tentacular thinking
We are not able to control extra-human forces. Not all action is human. Human beings are part of the system of life in general. Life is tentacular in itself.
According to quantum physics, the phenomena that we observe don't have intrinsic properties until they are cut from the ontological tangle that is preconfigured. This means that quantum physics teaches us that if we see two objects, one element is blue and the other red, one large and one small, it is because of the illusion of our optics (including technological optics).
To see objectively we must cut out the phenomena of the tangle.
The human being thinks himself as an isolated object but we are always in the tangle. This tangle in which we are involved (like any animal, plant or mineral) is tentacular life. It is the biome of all life.
The tentacle is not only used to hunt prey. The tentacles serve to link us with other things. Hugging someone is a tentacular phenomenon, responding to the needs of something, an animal or a plant is a tentacular action. Listening to the other is tentacular. They are ontological links but also ethical and political links.
