新しい冒険の始まり

ご縁をいただいてThe Young Americans（ヤングアメリカンズ、以下YA）の日本法人の共同代表者になりました。

YAは1962年にアメリカで設立された非営利団体で、音楽とパフォーマンスを通じて若者たちに自己表現と自信を育む機会を提供しています。

CEOはLA在住の元YAキャスト、松本英莉さんで僕はFounderという立場です。

2006年から2020年まで、NPO法人じぶん未来クラブのご尽力によりツアーを開催してきました。
パンデミック以降、この4年間、YAは国内外含めたアウトリーチ活動を停止し事業継続の道を模索し続けてきました。

そしてこの春から夏にかけて大きな変化がありました。

今後の日本でのツアーや事業推進はThe Young Americansの日本法人である株式会社The Young Americans Japan（ヤングアメリカンズジャパン、以下YAJ）がリードします。

12月には4年ぶりのワークショップ（１day、大人対象と子供対象）と日本で初めてのディナーショーを実施、日本での活動再開を皆さんにお披露目します。
本格的なツアーは2025年の春以降にできるように、ショーのアップデートやキャストの育成、日本での受け入れ準備を急ピッチで進めています。

このあと10月1日の12時から11月30日まで、チケットやグッズの販売、ネーミングライツやバナーへの出稿などの協賛をクラウドファンディングサイトで募ります。

I have had the honor of becoming the Co-Representative of The Young Americans (YA) Japan, thanks to many connections.

YA was established in 1962 in the U.S. as a non-profit organization that provides young people with opportunities to develop self-expression and confidence through music and performance.

The CEO is Elly Matsumoto, a former YA cast member living in LA, and I serve as the Founder.

From 2006 to 2020, tours were conducted through the support of the NPO Jibun Mirai Club. However, after the pandemic hit, YA’s outreach activities, both domestically and internationally, were halted, and we have spent the last four years searching for a way forward.

This summer marks a new chapter. Moving forward, tours and business expansion in Japan will be led by the Japanese branch, The Young Americans Japan (YAJ).

In December, after four years, we will hold 1-day workshops (for adults and children) and, for the first time, a dinner show in Japan to reintroduce our activities here.

We are rapidly preparing for a full tour restart in the spring of 2025 by updating our shows, training our cast, and readying our operations in Japan.

Starting from October 1st at midnight until November 30th, we will launch a crowdfunding campaign to sell tickets and merchandise, and offer opportunities for naming rights and banner sponsorship.
