Nijo Castle 二条城
Date: Until Saturday, April 15th
Time: From 18:00 to 22:00 (last entry at 21:00).
Admission for adults: From 1,600 yen to 2,400 yen, depending on the day of the week and whether tickets are purchased in advance or on the day.

There are stalls alongside the museum, selling famous Kyoto products, so you can also buy souvenirs.
Admission is completely swapped out from the regular daytime viewing and the castle closes temporarily at 17:00, then the nighttime viewing starts at 18:00.
Toji 東寺
Date: Until Sunday, April 16th,
Time: From 18:00 to 21:30 (last admission at 21:00)
Admission for adults: 1,000 yen.
The daytime visit ends at 17:00, and the night visit begins at 18:00.
The magnificent Fuji cherry blossoms and five-story pagoda offer breathtaking views.
The national treasure Buddha statues in the Golden Hall and Lecture Hall is also amazing to see at night.
This is a highly recommended spot for night cherry blossom viewing, within walking distance from Kyoto Station.
Chionin Temple 知恩院
Date: From March 24th (Friday) to April 2nd (Sunday)
Time: 17:45-21:30 (last admission at 21:00)
Admission for adults: 800 yen.
If you follow Chion-in Temple on Instagram, admission will be deducted from 800 yen to 700 yen.
Maruyama Park 円山公園
Date: From March 24th to April 9th
Time: From 18:00 to 22:00
Admission fees: FREE
Kodaiji Temple and Entokuin Temple 高台寺・圓徳院
Date: Until May 7th
Time: From 17:00 to 22:00（Last entry 21:30）
Admission for adults: 900 yen
Kodaiji temple can be visited from 9:00 in the morning and Entokuin temple from 10:00. The light-up event starts at 17:00.
They are located in the area between Kiyomizu-Dera temple and Yasaka Shrine, which are popular tourist spots.
Kiyomizu-Dera Temple 清水寺
Date: From March 25th to April 2nd
Time: From 18:00 to 21:00
Admission for adults: 400 yen
As this is a very popular spot, it's better to be prepared for crowds if you're planning to go.
Also, expect heavy traffic when you return to your accommodation.
Higashi-Honganji Temple 東本願寺
Although not a nighttime cherry blossom viewing event, the Citizen's Green Park in front of Higashi-Honganji Temple will hold a flower lantern festival. Additionally, the neighboring Sho-sei-en Garden, part of Higashi Honganji Temple, will also have nighttime illuminations.
The flower lantern festival will run from March 24th (Friday) to April 29th (Saturday) from 18:00 to 21:00, while Sho-sei-en Garden will be illuminated from 17:30 to 20:30 (last admission at 20:00) during the same time period. Admission to the flower lantern festival is free, while entry to Sho-sei-en Garden is 500 yen.
Kyoto Botanical Gardens 京都府立植物園
Date: From March 25th to April 9th
Time: From 18:00 to 21:00（Last entry 20:00）
