Anyone can order Kyomaru-Uchiwa with their name.

Kiyo holds her hair with a Tenugui(手ぬぐい) and starts preparing breakfast.
Tenugui is a traditional Japanese towel.
Tenugui has various patterns according to the season. Since episode 3 is about summer, Kiyo used a Tenugui with a watermelon pattern.

Shinshindo is one of the famous bread bakery shops in Kyoto.
There are many Shinshindo shops in Kyoto, Gion branch is familiar with Maiko-san.

It's famous for its onion-shaped posts and wood bridge rails. When the bridge was built is unclear but there is a record that Toyotomi Hideyoshi ordered to repair the bridge in 1590.
