ahamoxBE:FIRST The Making of Commercial & Interview Video

From ahamo Official Youtube

What are your reflections on the commercial shoot?

LEO: Konnichiwa.

All: We’re BE:FIRST.

MANATO: Actually, I ran. There was an incredibly long tunnel. I think it was about 1 kilometer long.

SOTA: It can’t be 1 kilometer.

MANATO: I was filmed sprinting through a narrow and long tunnel that is 500 meters long. I’d like everyone to see that scene. The place where I was with SOTA was at the swimming pool. He danced on the diving board.

SOTA: On the highest one.

MANATO: So, we were told, “Please try not to go over there too much.” Staff-san were worried about us.

JUNON: Lying in the meadow with the sound of summer insects was so emotional. I'm glad that I felt like I was part of nature

The meaning behind the new song, “Blissful”

MANATO: I wanted a song that could further elevate the excitement during live performances, with a clear theme that everyone could enjoy together. I also hoped to create a summer tune or party tune. I'm happy that we can present it as a new song.

What kind of support do the members provide when you hit a wall? -

LEO: Since the members have been with me naturally since the audition days, I often feel the importance and gratitude of having them when we are apart. We have a family-like bond, so sometimes I might take their presence for granted when we're together. However, when we're apart, especially on stage or in those moments, I often feel their support and presence strongly. I'm truly grateful for their reliability and the fact that I can consult with them about anything. I'm really glad to have met and built such a relationship with all the members

What challenges are you taking on in your pursuit of global expansion?

SOTA: There are various ways to expand globally, and recently we’ve been discussing which approach best represents BE:FIRST. We believe that the most BE:FIRST-like way is to elevate Japan’s presence and make Japan itself recognized on the world stage. Instead of just leaving Japan, we want to enhance the value of “music is fun” across the entire country so that Japan is seen as a top-tier music destination. It would be the coolest and most BE:FIRST-like if we could be seen as the ones who started this movement and expanded globally. To that end, we want to tackle both small and large challenges with full effort.

Please advise those taking on challenges.

SOTA: When I was transitioning from being a dancer to aiming to be an artist, it was similar. As I consulted with others and communicated my goals, I encountered both positive and negative feedback. In the end, what matters most is your own feelings. Therefore, I believe it's important to cherish your initial, most natural emotions.
