比較級、最上級、as~as演習問題解答・解説編

今回は前回投稿した

演習問題の解答・解説を行います。

解答は太文字で書いています。また、解説が不要のものは省略しています。

演習問題

⑴次の空欄を埋めなさい。

①私は母より背が高いです。　I am taller than my mother.

*higher でも正解。

②彼はクラスで1番数学が好きです。　He likes math the best in his class.

*like the best…1番好き、範囲を表す物が入っているのでinを入れます。

③このペンはあのペンと同じくらいの長さです。 This is  as long as that one.

*as~as…同じくらい、as~asの間は原級を入れます。

④彼女は数学より英語の方が好きですか？ Does she like English better than math?

*like better than~…〜より好き

⑤この家はこの町で1番大きい家ですか？ Is this house the biggest in this city?

*largestでも正解。

⑥日本は韓国と同じくらいの暑さですか？ Is Japan as hot as Korea?

⑦彼女は彼より早く起きません。 She doesn't get up earlier than him.

⑧この公園は4つの公園の中で1番小さくありません。 This isn't the smallest of four.

⑨この本はあの本ほど難しくありません。 This isn't as difficult as that one.

⑩私は国語は全教科の中で好きです。 I like Japanese the best of all.

⑵次の英文を日本文にしなさい。

①Tom is higher than his father.  トムは父より背が高いです。

②The book is the most famous in Japan. その本は日本で1番有名です。

③This cup isn't as small as that one. このカップはあのカップほど小さくありません。

④Is the picture more beautiful than that one? この絵はあの絵より美しいですか？

⑤Today is cooler than yesterday. 今日は昨日より涼しいです。

⑶次の日本文を英文にしなさい。

①野球はサッカーより人気です。Baseball is more famous than soccer.

*母音が3つ以上入っている形容詞のため前にmoreを入れます。

②母は家族の中で1番早く起きます。 My mother gets up the earliest in my family.

③この本はあの本と同じくらい高価ですか？ Is this book as expensive as that one?

④彼女は私より上手にご飯を作ります。 She makes dishes better than me.

⑤私はクラスで1番背が高くありません。 I am not the tallest ini my class.

*highestでも正解。
