#37 The Sun also Shines [PART3. Spain] ep.XXI "English Strikes Back"
The reason I started learning English was I needed to understand it.
It's Star Wars for sure. I can't be happier than being able to see the eighth eipsode. The Force guided me, I guess. Even a spin-off was also released while I was in Madrid. The life is great. This makes me alive.
I went to a Japanese restaurant "Ikigai". A friend of my Czech friend's who I talked with for a few minutes a few weeks ago asked me to go. She's never had Japanese dish before, and would like to go to a good restaurant chosen by Japanese.
Imossible. There's no such a restaurant. I've never seen nor heard of it in first place. Googling for a while to find some, then it seems that there are some, but most of them were not cheap enough for students to grab sushi casually.
Considering photos, wom, and price on the Internet, I picked "Ikigai". Except too cooked edamame, it was okay. Even it's not better than cheapest restaurants in Sapporo, but they have sushi at least. I took a glance at a cushion next to me. I don't know where they took from, the cushion has ads of hair spray for white-head from a magazine. It was hilariously sitting there. This is life.
Before my friend leaving for their homes for the Christmas break, we had a small home party. Each of us just prepared one dish. The only rule was to be vegan friendly. A representative of Japan is okonomiyaki. The sause was using dried bonito flake. Sorry, forgive me. I hid the fact with natto. Yeah, I knew you weren't going to eat that smelly sticky beans.
