From the day we are born, the speed we

 mature at is watched closely. 

Governments set targets they want us to 

meet. Our parents, families, and friends 

also have expectations of what we should 

be able to do by the time we reach a 

certain age. 

People who meet these goals are often 

thought to be successful. In contrast, we 

consider those who develop slowly to be 

"behind." 

But we all develop at different times. Many 

people have successful careers, get good 

qualifications, and get married later in 

life. In fact, as we live longer, it is expected 

that we will naturally develop and mature 

later than in previous generations. 

The idea that we should reach important

 milestones when we are young is 

becoming an outdated idea. We are all

 individuals who should not be judged by 

the speed at which we develop. Our lives

 should be a winding path of continuous development. 

It's never too late to try something new. 

There is no such thing as a "late bloomer."

ーーー”遅咲き”はないーーー

人は生まれたときから、その成熟のスピードが注目されています。政府は、私たちに達成させたい目標を設定しています。親や家族、友人も、ある年齢に達するまでに何ができるようになるべきかを期待している。 

このような目標を達成した人は、成功者とみなされることが多いのです。これに対して、成長が遅い人は「失敗」と見なされます。 
しかし、私たちの成長のタイミングは人それぞれです。キャリアを積んだり、資格を取ったり、結婚するのが遅い人もたくさんいます。むしろ、長生きすればするほど、自然と成長・成熟する時期が遅くなることが予想されます。 

 若いうちに重要な節目を迎えるべきだという考え方は、時代遅れになりつつあるのです。私たちは皆、個人であり、成長の速さによって判断されるべきではありません。私たちの人生は、絶えず発展し続ける曲がりくねった道であるべきなのです。 

 新しいことに挑戦するのに遅すぎるということはありません。遅咲きなどということはない。
