通訳学校の復習2：Email で使える表現

「本メールには2つの目的があります」と伝えたい場合、

The purpose of this email is twofold.

と、メールを始める。

There are two purpose of this email.

とも書けるが、there is/are で始める文章は、一般的に洗練されていないとみなされるので、前者の表現の方が望ましい。
