I was able to welcome the new year safely. I won't say it's happy.
It seems like the New Year will be a somber one, because my wife has caught a cold. It has been going on for nearly two weeks, and she has a severe cough.
Despite taking oral contraceptive, she is abnormal bleeding, possibly due to the cold or the side effects of cold medicine she's taking.   
I have plans to take her to see a doctor at the clinic when it opens. I hope she gets well soon.
