This station is the starting point, so unless you’re heading to the next station, the best way to reach your destination quickly is to get on the very first train that departs. Even if your destination isn’t served by express trains, you can switch trains at a later station and still arrive faster than taking a regular train that departs later.

私が通勤に利用している駅は終着駅です。
帰宅時にこの駅で外国人観光客がどの電車に乗ればよいか迷っている時にいつもこのように伝えたいのですがなかなか言葉にできずにいました。
これまでは、どこの駅に行きたいか聴いて、乗る電車や乗り換え方法を説明していました。
しかし、これまですぐ隣の駅に以降とした人は一人もいませんでした。
だいたい、外国人観光客が行こうとする駅は決まっています。
なので、とにかくすぐに出る電車に乗って、乗ってから色々話せばよいと思っていました。
とはいえ、前述の表現は少し小難しい気もします。
なので、↓のような言い方でも良いのかなぁ、とも思います。
いずれにしても、実戦で使える様に準備、練習しておこうと思います。
