Introducing [Dream Rocket], a "kaiju"-monster that fascinates with its unique form! Isomeric! Mecha-mechanism! "Kaiju"! Monster!
This time, it's [Dream Rocket]! "Dri-Rocket"! So, let's do it!
[Dream Rocket]'s wide variety of work and beautiful coloring is really wonderful!
[Dream Rocket] is a brand that Junichi Yajima handles both prototype production and color design!
We also have a collaborative work with [OneUp] that we'd like to share with you!
This time we have three of them here!
Kaiju robot! Ω(omega)! ψ(psi)!
This naming and modeling! It's irresistible for monster lovers!
I like the simple naming of Kaiju Robots. I'm really looking forward to the naming of "Omega" and "Psi", which are likely to develop in the future as series.
This time, isomers, Kaijus and monsters will be fascinated by their unique form and coloring! That's what I'd like to do.
First off,
Dream Rocket Kaiju Robot [Lotus Red Armor]!
I bought this one at "shina Ginza", and it's really cool! It has a great presence
and the detailed coloring is beautiful.
The features of the monster have been well suppressed, and this SOFUBI has an outstanding presence while still being mechanical!
It has a retro design that looks like it could have appeared in an old anime. The overall form is round, but the fins on the back are spiked, which is really cool. Also, the paint job is really beautiful! The use of silver and gold, as well as the darker colors between the armor, gives it a more mechanical look that's really cool!
Next,
This is a fluorescent red molding version of the original [Dream Rocket] x [OneUp] "Ω" (omega).
Omega is the 24th (last) letter of the Greek alphabet, meaning the end of things.
It seems to be the symbol for the unit of electrical resistance, the ohm!
It's a collaboration between [OneUp] and [Dream Rocket]. The spiky parts of the figure look different depending on the angle from which you look at it, giving it a monster feel.
This "Omega" was released in 2015 and was sculpted by [Dream Rocket]. I think that the ferocious and rough feeling is expressed by this coat and the spiky modeling. As for the coloring, gold is blown from the top to the bottom, so the red color of the ground can be partially seen and and the coloring has a three-dimensional effect.
Next,
This is a [Dream Rocket] x [OneUp] original creative monster "ψ" (psi).
It's pronounced "psái" or "sái".
"ψ", the 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet, is like the symbol for psychic powers in psychiatry and the symbol for the wave function in quantum mechanics!
It means "false" and was used to name isomers when the structure had not yet been determined.
It's the perfect image of a isomer entity that doesn't exist in reality!
This is the Minotaur SOFUBI "Psi" that was released in 2016 as a counterpart to Omega.
This one is inspired by the Minotaur originally released by "GEEK" and [Dream
Rocket], and is designed with the same sizing as "Omega".
Compared to Omega, the body design is more relaxed, but the horns and head are still very cool.
Whether it's the Monster Robot, the Ω, or the ψ, there's quite a few color
variations out there!
And so many of these pieces are hard to come by!
It's very popular!
[Dream Rocket]'s coloring is also of a high level, so every time a new color is
announced, I'm shocked! So once you buy it, you may want a different color again.
There are many other SOFUBI, and VAG gachas are also available, so I think there are many opportunities to touch them.
Hiro: You can find some addictive works because he has designed SOFUBI of various genres. From small size to huge ones, it's really wide.
(Kaiju Robot) After all, SOFUBI of this size is also good...
I think the bigger the monster or robot, the better!
