採用面接はこんな感じでした。

　相変わらず休講が続いているので大学構内は静かなのですが、こちらは遠隔授業に向けた準備で連日研究室に閉じこもっています。

　今日は私が受けた採用面接についてご紹介したいと思います。（ちょっと授業の準備に飽きてきたので、この記事を書いています。）面接は合計５校を受けました。多くは模擬授業と面接がセットなのですが、面接だけという大学もありました。模擬授業は３人ぐらいの少人数から１５人ぐらいの大人数もありましたが、学生が全部先生方なのでなかなかの圧迫面接です。そして模擬授業の後、面接になりますがこれがなかなか難しいです。ある程度質問は想定していたのですが、それでも予想外のこと質問も受けますので基本へこみます。

　一番最初に面接を受けた大学は非常に気合を入れて臨んだのですが、なんと面接を受けているときに流血してしまい、そのまま病院に行くことになりました。おそらく大学教員の採用面接で病院送りになったのは私が初めてではないかと変な自負を持っています。

　このような経験はあまり役立たないかもしれませんが、それぐらい面接は独特な雰囲気があるということを伝えられたらと思いご紹介しました。ちなみに今の勤務校はとてもフレンドリーな面接だったので、リラックスして受け答えができたことを鮮明に覚えています。なので、今この大学で働けていることにとても感謝しています。

The interview was like this.

The college campus is still quiet because classes are still suspended, but we stay in the laboratory every day to prepare for the distance classes.

Today I'd like to introduce the job interview I took. (I'm writing this article because I'm a little tired of preparing for classes.) I had a total of five interviews. Most of them have a trial lesson and an interview as a set, but some universities only have an interview. There were a small class of about 3 to a large class of about 15 students, but it was quite a pressure interview because all the students were teachers. And after the simulation class, there will be an interview, but this is quite difficult. I had some questions in mind, but I still get some unexpected questions, so I'll get down to the basics.

I went to the university with great enthusiasm when I was first interviewed, but I was bleeding during the interview, and I ended up going straight to the hospital. I think it's probably my first time to be sent to a hospital for an interview for a university teacher.

This may not be a very useful experience, but I hope I can tell you that the interview has a unique atmosphere. By the way, I remember vividly that I was able to answer in a relaxed manner because the interview at my current school was very friendly. So I am very grateful that I can work at this university now.
