Quarantine Diary 5/12/20

寝坊〜！寝ても寝ても眠い。５５日目！とてもいい天気。

裏庭の鳥がどんどん近くを飛んでくれるようになってる。カーディナルはバタバタと羽ばたいて、羽を止めて滑空して、また羽ばたく、というスタイルで（この飛び方に名前があるのかな？）すぐ近くを横切ってくれる。青空に紅が映えて綺麗だなぁ。見せてくれてるんだね。昨日はカモメがすごく高いところで群れになって鳴いていた。
裏庭のノラ猫たちのボスはブチ猫で、毎日夕方に裏庭をパトロールしている。窓から話しかけたら立ち止まって聞いてくれた。

一度止んだと思ったサイレンがまた昨夜から復活してるのが少し気になる。

ここのところ、仕込んである楽しみがふたつ。zineも入れたらみっつ！
こっそりつくったりするのが楽しくてたまらない。早く見せたい！でも見せる前が一番楽しいのかもしれないな。

今日は夫のミーティングの多い日なのでわたしが食事の担当。グリルドチーズといって、すごく簡単なホットサンド。それとポテトのマヨネーズ焼き、アボカド、ピクルス。気温が上がってきて野菜の足が早くなってるので気をつけないと。

作家さんのインタビューはなんとか形になった。ほっ。さっそく配信する。英訳するとき、真面目な文章はどれもすごく似た感じになっちゃうのが今後の課題だなぁ。バリエーションを増やしたい。詩とかこの日記とかは自由に書けるのだけど。

夕方に屋上で１時間。髪質と量の違いよ。

Day 55! Overslept... I slept long, but still sleepy... It's a beautiful Day!

Bird in our backyard is getting used to us. They come flying very close to us. When Cardinal is flying in front of me, that vivid red was so beautiful with the blue sky. I think they are showing off how beautiful they are. Yesterday we saw many seagulls were flying very high and singing loud.
The boss of stray cats around here is a big white and black spotted cat. Around 5 pm everyday, he walks through the backyards. When I talked to him the other day, he stopped and listened to me.

There were many sirens last night and today. I wish everyone is fine.

I have two secret projects going... hehe. Adding my zine, it's three projects. It is so fun to have them. I want to show, but the best part might be when plans are planning. 

My husband had three meetings today, so I fixed breakfast and lunch. Grilled cheese, avocado, and baked potato. As the temperature is rising, all vegetable are going bad very quickly... 

My interviews are done! Yay! When I write in English for work, I don't have much vocabulary.... I need to improve this...

One hour on the rooftop. Look how much hair I have!
