I had an English lesson tonight.
The tonight’s topic was superstition.

When I was a child, I have heard that hide your thumb when you see a hearse because you cannot be by your mother's side when she is passing away.

"Dropping utensils means that someone's coming. If a spoon falls, a woman will come. If a fork falls, a man will arrive." is Philippines superstition. I have never heard that before.

It's interesting to learn what I've never known before.
