そして、一度だけ死ぬことと、死んだ後さばきを受けることとが、人間に定まっているように、

信仰者は、生と死の有限な生命は創造主の深い御心によって決められることを知って地上の生涯を過ごし、信仰によって永遠の命を受けます。
The believer spends his or her earthly life knowing that the finite life of life and death is determined by the deep will of the Creator, and through faith receives eternal life.
この聖句は、私たち人間が必ず経験する死と、その後の審判について述べています。
