こうして、人々が熱心に追い求めて捜しさえすれば、神を見いだせるようにして下さった。
事実、神はわれわれひとりびとりから遠く離れておいでになるのではない。

信仰者は、常に神が共にいてくださるお方であることを知っています。
The believer knows that God is the One who is always with him.

この聖句は、神が私たち一人一人から遠く離れているわけではなく、熱心に探求すれば見出せるということを教えています。
この聖句から信仰生活に適用できる教訓は、
1.神は常に私たちの近くにおり、私たちが神を求める時、神は私たちを見つけ出すための道を提供してくださるということです。つまり、信仰生活においては、神との関係を積極的に追求し、神の存在を日常生活の中で認識し、その導きに従うことが重要です。
2.神が私たちの生活の中で活動的な役割を果たしており、私たちが神を知ることができるように、神自身が働きかけてくださっていることを示しています。私たちは、神の存在を感じ、神の愛と導きを日々の生活の中で経験することができます。神は遠い存在ではなく、私たちの心と生活の中に深く関わっておられるのです。この真理を信じ、神との個人的な関係を深めることが、信仰生活における大切なステップとなります。
私は、神が私の近くにおられると信じ、日々神の臨在を体験する信仰生活を送ることができるようにと祈ります。

This verse teaches us that God is not far away from each of us, but can be found if we search diligently.
Lessons from this scripture that can be applied to our life of faith are,
1. that God is always close to us and that when we seek Him, He will provide a way for us to be found. This means that in our life of faith it is important to actively pursue a relationship with God, to recognise His presence in our daily lives and to follow His guidance.
2. that God plays an active role in our lives and that he himself is at work in helping us to know him. We can feel God's presence and experience His love and guidance in our daily lives. God is not a distant presence, but is deeply involved in our hearts and lives. Believing this truth and developing a personal relationship with God is an important step in the life of faith.
I believe that God is close to me and I pray that I can live a life of faith in which I experience His presence daily.
