“小さな花” たちの訪れ / The Visit of the Little Flowers

僕の花壇、大きく目立つ花ばかりに目を奪われていると、
小さな花たちが「こんにちは」と言ってきました。

As my eyes were drawn to all the large, prominent flowers in my flower beds,
the little flowers said, "Hello.”

葉もなく、枯れた木だと思っていたら、
直接、枝から花が溢れ出てきたのが「ハナズオウ」

I thought it was a dead tree with no leaves,
but directly from its branches overflowed with flowers, "Cercis chinensis."

カタバミに囲まれて、ひっそり咲いていた「ノゲシ」
もう季節は終わり、次の春も会いましょう

"Sonchus oleraceus" was blooming quietly, surrounded by Oxalis.
The season is over, see you next spring!

花壇で大きな顔をしている黄色いカタバミたちから離れて、
特徴の三つ葉を赤く染めている「アカカタバミ」が一輪だけ
僕の小指の爪よりも小さく、凛と咲いていました

In the flower bed, apart from the large-looking yellow oxalis,
there was a single ``red oxalis'' with three distinctive red leaves,
smaller than the nail of my little finger, blooming with a dignified appearance.

ずっと枯れたような雰囲気で佇んでいた「アジサイ」
新しい葉を芽吹かせ始めて、雨の季節の準備を進めています

The "hydrangea," which had been standing in a withered atmosphere for a long time, has begun to sprout new leaves and is getting ready for the rainy season.
