ひなた Sunny spot

このあいだ、つよいかぜがふいて、
にわのいちょうのはっぱも、ぶどうのはっぱもみんなおちました。
The other day, strong wind has blown and all leaves of Ginko, Grape and Lilac in the yard have fallen down.

きょうもまた　おもてはつよいかぜがふいていて　おちばがカラカラおとをたててころがっているようなんですが、
ガラスどのこっちがわは　とってもあったかいひなた。
Today, outside of window
Strong wind is blowing, too and fallen leaves are rolling with sounding like clattering “karakara” over the street
But inside of window
There is a sunny spot which is so warm.

ガラスどいちまいあるだけで、くるまのはしるおとも　かぜのふくこえも　とおくとおく。
ここは　しずかな　あったかい　ひなたです。
Although there is only glass plate,
Sounds of driving car and blowing wind are so far from.
This is a sunny spot which is so warm and quiet.

はっぱをおとした　いちょうのきが、ひなたに　まだらもようをつくります。
かぜにゆられて　うごく　まだらもよう。
Ginkgo tree which has fallen own leaves down produces mottled pattern by sunlight filtering through own branches.
Mottled pattern is moving by blowing wind.

まだらもようの　まんなかに、しろいかたまり　
ねこのピサロ。
Oh!
There is a white mass in the center of mottled pattern.
That is our cat, Pisaro.

ピサロのせなかでも　まだらもようがうごきます。　
なんて　あったかで　しずかで、ピサロは　ゆげのでた　にくまんのようです。
Mottled pattern moves on back of Pisaro,too.
What a warm and quiet this time is!
Pisaro looks like a hot meat bun which is steaming.

「ザ－。」「カタカタ。」　
だいどころでは　おかあさんが　おひるのしたくをはじめたよう。
Pisaro can hear sound of water and clattering.
“Zaza…” “Kata kata”
He think that mother must have started to make lunch in the kitchen.

「ファーイ。」　ひとあくび。　ピサロは　まだらもようをすてて　だいどころにむかいます。
“Yawn”
He makes a small yawn
And throw his mattled pattern off and go to the kitchen.

あとには　やっぱり、
しずかで　あったかい　まだらもようのひなたです。
Oh! He went away.
But there still be a sunny spot with mattled pattern.
It is a place so warm and quiet.
