331. The Burden of Respiratory Syncytial Virus Disease in Children and Adults Hospitalized in a Large Tertiary Hospital in the United Kingdom: A Retrospective Study

2019/2020シーズンの小児におけるRSVの疾患負荷の報告。咽頭スワブでPCR陽性で入院した全患者を調査。小児患者4006人、成人患者81人が対象となり、成人患者の94％（76/81）が併存疾患を有していたのに対し、小児では20％（81/406）のみ有していた。成人では、胸部X線は46％（37/81人）で正常、36% (29/81) に浸潤影あり。小児ではウイルスの重複感染が158名（39％）にみられ、40名（10%）がPICUに入室した。成人では7名（9%）がICU入室した。RSVで入院した小児は死亡しなかったが、成人では6人（7％）が死亡した。また、成人では二次性の細菌感染が多いことが示唆された。
