18〜64歳に投与された15,148,369人で、BNT162b2ワクチン16,912,716回、mRNA-1273ワクチン10,631, 554回の心筋炎または心膜炎を調査。心筋炎、心膜炎、またはその両方は、合計411件観察された。18～25歳の男性の2回目が発生率最高で、ワクチンを比較すると、BNT162b2で10万人•日あたり1.71（1.31～2.23）、mRNA-1273で10万人・日あたり2.17（1.55～3.04）。IRR 1.43（0.88～2.34）でmRNA-1273で心筋炎、心膜炎発症は多く、100万接種あたり27.80（-21.88～77.48）の過剰リスクだったが、有意差はなし。
