『何で、中国に来たのですか？』

その度に、それに見合った言葉を探しては、自分なりに考えを整理しているのですが、おそらく、一番最初の意思というのは、このカルフォルニアロールに深い関係があります。

　大学では建築を勉強していました。あまり、設計をするのは得意じゃなかったけど、それなりに楽しく過ごしていました。建築というのは、エンジニアリングであると同時に、アートでもあります。なので、日本文化の歴史の知識が教養として必要になります。少なくとも、私はそう考えていました。

　そこで触れる日本文化とは、理解不能というか、言葉で表現する前に体感する必要があるなと感じていました。日本に暮らしているということは、灯台の元にいるようで、自国の文化に、直感的に何かを感じたり、表現したりというのは根っこから教育されてないとなかなか難しい。

　なので、ごく一般的な家庭に生まれた私は、後天的に日本文化を学ぶために、外国に出るのが手っ取り早いだろうという結論になりました。

　

　そこで、選んだ国が中国だったのです。

I was studying architecture at university. I wasn't an honor student, but I had a good time. Architecture is not only engineering but also art. Therefore, knowledge of the history of Japanese culture is necessary for education. At least I thought so.

However, it is difficult to understand Japanese culture. I felt that I needed to experience it before I expressed it. In terms of living in Japan, it seems to be under the lighthouse. It is very difficult to express your own culture without deep education.

Born in a very ordinary family, I came to the conclusion that it would be quick to go abroad to study Japanese culture.
