Yappli Announces Appointment of New Directors to Further Strengthen Management Structure

Yappli, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan, Representative Director and CEO: Yasubumi Ihara, hereinafter “Yappli, Inc.”), a company providing a no-code mobile app platform Yappli, announced that Genki Sato, current Executive Officer and CTO, and Takahiro Yamamoto, current Executive Officer and COO have been newly appointed as Directors, in order to further strengthen the management structure, effective as of March 30, 2023.

■ Background

Two years have passed since the IPO and both our services and number of employees have undergone significant changes. As we approach our 10th anniversary in April 2023, we have been deliberating on the best management structure to guide us through the next decade.

As a company advancing mobile DX, we have appointed two new Directors, Sato and Yamamoto, to strengthen our management over the next decade. Both of them have been leading the company’s product development and business internally since before the company went public and possess high levels of expertise and strong leadership skills.

Yappli, Inc. is entering an important phase of new product and business development, expanding beyond the flagship product "Yappli" and the new "Yappli CRM." These personnel changes include the appointment of top executives from product development and business departments as Directors, as well as Ichikawa, who has recently been appointed as Executive Officer responsible for overseeing Customer Success. We believe that these changes will further strengthen our product development, sales, and customer support capabilities. 

Furthermore, Tsunoda's retirement is due to the expiration of his term, and he will continue to support the management team and products with his professional expertise as an Expert Director and CFO.
